The euro (EUR) was seen trading with largely bullish results this morning following last week’s mildly optimistic assessments from North American employment reports. Against the US dollar (USD) the euro was trading near a 4-day high, with few signs of halting the bullishness which appears to come on the coattails of a long-term consolidation pattern. Against the Great British pound (GBP), the EUR witnessed a similar, albeit weaker, gain in strength.

Traders appear to be clinging stronger to the 17-nation common currency with higher yielding investments in mind. With employment rising in the North American continent, it seems likely that more traders will opt for higher yields heading into the 2011 holiday season. Should data continue to move in such a direction, it is far more likely that the EUR will see further gains. Economic sentiment across the euro zone remains negative overall, however, with many analysts and economists expecting moves towards safety by traders as early as next week. Has in the last year or so in which Mr. Fodor was fighting crime ever any of his clients injured because of what he does when he is not with his former clients ‘ even threatened. What if he was a part time police officer. In regards to the investigation ‘ he was never charged. There have been voiced pending charges ‘ for how long does he have to wait for these pending (I hear the words, ‘right to a speedy trial’ as I write this) charges. In court the video showed him breaking up a fight and him getting assaulted but not hitting back and no charges were filed though his property was stolen by the police. Another final perspective, does Mr. Fodor lose. No, he will find another job or probably get much more money than he had watching autistic kids. NPR ‘ Getting arrested for using pepper spray on a group of people has at least temporarily cost self-proclaimed Seattle superhero Phoenix Jones his day job helping autistic children.Benjamin Fodor (Jones’ real name) ‘has worked with five developmentally disabled autistic children ‘ who ranged in age from four to 18 years old ‘ for the last five years at their homes and state care facilities, going shopping with them, teaching them to balance checkbooks, and going for walks,’ Seattle’s Publicola.com newssite reports.But after his Oct. 9 arrest following an incident in which Jones/Fodor says he was trying to break up a fight, Washington State’s Department of Social and Health Services ‘alerted his employer about the case,’ SeattlePI.com says. The agency ‘asked that he not be around vulnerable children while the case was pending,’ the website adds.Jones/Fodor, 23, has yet to be charged with a crime.

If the case is dropped or he is not convicted, he could get his job back, Social and Health Services spokeswoman Sherry Hill, told SeattlePI.Jones/Fodor, who’s into mixed martial arts, tells Publicola he may take on some bouts for money. And, the website says, he ‘plans to start fighting crime in the daytime, in addition to his night patrols around Seattle.’.

Last week, Jones received a letter from the state Department of Social and Health Services, informing him he is no longer allowed to work with kids. PubliCola was not able to determine exactly why DSHS disqualified Jones from working with kids, but it appears to be due to his pending assault case. When contacted for a comment, Jones said he had been advised not to speak extensively about the circumstances of his apparent termination, but confirmed he was no longer able to work with autistic children.

‘They all knew I was Phoenix Jones,’ he says. Jones says that because of his arrest, he’s on ‘a list’ that prohibits him from working with children, because he has ‘a history of interjecting myself into situations that are dangerous.’ Jones, naturally, disputes that characterization. ‘I would say I have a history of fighting crime,’ he says. ‘The whole point of what I do is to keep people safe.’ Jones isn’t sure how he’ll pay the bills now. He says he’s received offers for fight bouts from the Strikeforce mixed martial arts organization, and plans to start fighting crime in the daytime, in addition to his night patrols around Seattle. Other than that, he says, ‘I really don’t know.’.

The footage goes on to show Jones breaking up the group. Then a woman screams at him, hitting him with her high-heel shoes. Jones appears to be holding his pepper spray canister.
